It's dumbfounding that it took them so long to make the headway they have. BP you're really shown how your company is run. It is really hard to believe how a major cooperation like BP could be so incompetent. They have been doing this for over a 100 years! We really do give companies like them far too much credit. So sad. The saddest part of the whole situation is that many people have lost their livelihood. BP will go on, this won't slow them down that much. But what about the small local businesses? They won't see much of the money BP has to pay.

Great job but leave out the anti bp rhetoric. BP employs more people in America than any other country. So Americans work for BP and drive around for decades using bp oil. I believe BP are and all Americans working for it in Gulf are doing best that they can. It is horrendous disaster but I think Americans should do what we do best and roll sleeves up as you guys have done but leave out the whining. I am tired of people acting like a company suddenly invaded Gulf and spilled oil. It is called BP America or do people forget

[...] And as far as the Nuclear Test Ban Treaties, the United States and President Obama in particular have supported the ban on nuclear testing since its inception. To back down now would be politically unfeasible. And as we all know, politics rule. Even if we could stop the leak in a 10-second explosion with minimal radioactivity, it would never happen. Our elected officials are far more concerned with their future careers than with the people they represent. (See my post) [...]
